Dave Godin Lighting & Sound is based in Essex. The company supplies Lighting, Sound and Effects Equipment for Live Events, Theatre and the Education Sector.
Dave Godin Lighting & Sound has been established over twenty five years supplying equipment and technical services to the surrounding area.
Services available include the dry hire of individual items, through to complete production services for your event. Dave Godin also specialises in sales and permanent installation of equipment.
Dave Godin also works as a Production Manager, Lighting Designer, Rigger and Electrician, with experience across all forms of theatre and events. His projects have taken him all over the UK, Europe, America and the Far East, as well working locally in the South East of England.

HIRE
We have a range of professional equipment available to hire at very reasonable weekly rates. If you know what items you require please contact us directly to place an order, or ask for a quote.
However if you need advice of how to fulfil you event requirements please get in touch and we can guide you to the ideal equipment for your needs. We only stock professional equipment that we have tried and tested ourselves. We can recommend to you the right tools for the effect or purpose you require, however complicated or simple.
We are very willing to hire as small or large amount of equipment, from one lamp to hundreds of lamps. There are no minimum purchase requirements, and we help customers to get the very most out of their budgets whatever the size.

At Dave Godin Lighting and Sound we specialise in package production services, helping make many productions a reality. The clients brief is the key to our application of production support. We work with the client from conception to the final realisation.
Our work spans from awards ceremonies to contemporary dance pieces, to theatre and Rock Concerts.
Our production services support all aspects of production from supplying lighting, sound and special effects equipment as well as Sound Engineers, Lighting Designers, Programmers and operators.
We also look after all logistics of an event to enable our teams to create such productions in limited time frames, restricted access and to have minimal impact on what are busy working venues and public places.
We are members and support ABTT & ALD.

INSTALL
The Installation Department at Dave Godin Lighting & Sound has been developed to allow us as a company to supply and install lighting and sound systems. We supply to newly built facilities or upgrade existing venues. We also specialise in specifying and supplying professional lighting and sound systems to schools and colleges.
We carefully listen to customers requirements and needs to avoid installing a systems that are too complex, large or expensive. In all our installations we only use rugged and professional equipment with a proven track record, but still user friendly.
